Sheryl Meehan joined the Rotary Club of Wilmington, MA and quickly realized that “Service Above Self” was not only a motto, but a way of life. When her company moved to Haverhill, she joined the Haverhill Rotary Club in 2001 with the classification of Computer Service due to her position as President of CPR Technologies, Inc. Past President of the Haverhill Rotary club, she also served many years on the Board of Directors. In the District Level, she served as Assistant Governor 2011 – 2012 and will be returning to this position while also serving as District Governor Nominee 2016-2017. Sheryl is a multi-Paul Harris award recipient and looks forward to serving as District Governor Nominee 2016-2017.
She is currently Volunteer Manager of Care Dimensions, a non-profit organization that provides compassionate expertise for advanced illness and is based in Danvers, Massachusetts serving over 90 communities in the North Shore and Greater Boston area. She firmly believes in community service and has served as Director for the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce and later as Director and Executive Committee Member for the Haverhill Chamber of Commerce for many years. In her capacity as Director, she received the “Jerry Loy Outstanding Director Award”. In addition, she has served as a Board Director for Creative Haverhill, Family Services Inc., YWCA of Greater Lawrence and is currently a Bank Corporator for Pentucket Bank. Sheryl was honored to be one of Haverhill YWCA Tribute to Women honorees.

Community Endowment of Lexington

Roberta Messina has been a Lexington resident most all her life. She is grateful for all the Community Endowment of Lexington is doing on behalf of the town and excited about the opportunity to serve on its Community Board. Her professional experience includes a career in public education and corporate Human Resources as well as her own organizational development, team and leadership consulting and coaching practice. She holds a Masters Degree in Educational Counseling and Career Development from the University of California and a certificate in coaching from The Hudson Institute of California. Roberta has volunteered in a number of not for profit organizations including the North Suburban YMCA and PEER Servants. She is a volunteer ombudsman with Minute Man Senior Services and a docent for Mount Auburn Cemetery. She finds her life greatly enriched through service both by those and with whom she serves. |
