On a cold, rainy and raw day, President Murry opened the meeting before a meeting consisting of 45 Rotarians and guests for our annual scholarship award meeting.  After assorted fines on Murry, Jim S, Bob O, Nick C, the meeting came to order for the major event of the day.

Scholarship Committee Chairman Dan O, on behalf of committee members Jack M, Bob C, and Don S, announced that we received 27 applications from the Lexington High School, Lexington Christian Academy and the newly named Minuteman Technical Institute. Due to the unprecedented number of highly qualified applicants, the Board of Directors authorized giving all applicants a scholarship.

In front of LHS Principal Natalie Cohen and advisor Joanne Tringale, Minuteman advisor Ashley Moltenbrey, and LCA advisor Kate Caley, scholarships were awarded to:
