On a cloudy Monday, 28 Rotarians met at Waxy O’Connor’s with President David presiding. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Steve K, one verse of American was led by PP David B and PP Bill C provided the Invocation.

PP David B paid happy dollars for a new granddaughter and a new granddaughter taxi (4 door car). Sec Susan C paid sad dollars for the passing of former Lion John Foti. PP Murray feeling the need to get up in front of the group and talk again, talked about his vacation to Italy and how we all need to travel there. I almost forgot that he paid some additional happy dollars for his trip too.  

PP Bob S passed around a card for PP Dan L. He is rehabbing in Bedford and our thoughts and prayers go out to him. 

Raffle donations were by Patriot Community Bank, Walpole Coop Bank, Eagle Bank, Encharter Insurance and Arlex Oil.

The classification talk was given by VP David S. David talked about how his company has used internet marketing to triple the number of insurance policies sold per month. They also make sure everyone in their company is focused on sales. He stressed the importance of blogging. Google is looking for new content all the time, so blogging helps you with your Google ranking. He warned not to use other people’s blogs and not to pay for a third party’s blogs.  

Our newest member, Steve M. won the 50/50, he won $70.
