On a perfect summer day, 21 Rotarians, 1 visiting Rotarian and 2 guests met at Waxy O’Connor’s (for the last time) with President Domenic presiding (also for the last time). The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Allan A, one verse of American was led by Charlie V, and PP Nick C provided the Invocation. The Welcome song was led by PP Dan O… eventually.

Happy dollars started by our President Domenic for his year and all the help the club gave him throughout the year. PP Doug H gave $20 happy dollars for one of his Granddaughter’s graduating from college while PP Nick C gave happy dollars for a grandchild graduating from pre-school. PP Dave S gave $64 happy/sad dollars, $6 of it went for his son birthday, $50 for his last meeting and $8 so he could keep his badge. PP Frank S went on an exciting vacation and road elephants and eat very weird/exotic foods. PP Dan B gave some happy dollars for reconnecting with a friend he met a few years back that is a wounded warrior, with an amazing back story. Dan talked about how appreciative he is of his service to our country and his positive outlook on the future. PP Spencer B (me) for my Mom’s successful hip replacement surgery. Finally, you know it is summer time when we get to have PP Bill C joins our meetings. It is great to have you back Bill.
