President Susan Inducts Our Newest Member, Terry Wilkins!
On Monday morning, July 26, 2016, 19 Lexington Rotarians, I visiting Rotarian, and 1 guest jump started the day at the Lexington Gold Club with the Pledge Of Allegiance led by PP Bill, the first verse of America led by PP Jim, and an invocation by PP Nick.
We are going to have to work on singing America in tune. However, having had some more coffee, we were right on key with the Welcome Song.
For breakfast we had quiche, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, strawberries, blueberries and yes, coffee.
President Susan inducted our new member, Terry Wilkins. Welcome Terry! Terry is a retired Colonel of the U.S. Air Force and then worked for Raytheon for a number of years. Her classification is “Real Estate”. Terry was sponsored by Alan A.
PP Dan fined himself $20. Happy Dollars were also given by PP Nick and PP Bill.
In place of a classification talk by one of our members, the committee chairs filled out reports with a description of the committee activities.
For those of our members who have not been to a meeting this Summer, we are now meeting starting at approximately 7 AM om Monday mornings and we have a new location – the Lexington Golf Club.
