Today’s speaker was Tom Griffith, Chairman of the Board of the Munroe Friends of the Arts. Tom Provided the club with an insight into the various “Arts” that the Center brings to Lexington.

While the Center mostly is a teaching facility, it also houses space for some practicing artists as well as performances and displays.

The programs range from professional to pre-school. Tom shared one of his favorite photos of a troupe of three & four year old ballerinas.

The programs offered are extremely varied and include drawing, painting, dance, ceramics, music, ballet and the stage arts. The center serves an estimated 1000 participants each week. Quite a treasure and resource for the Town to enjoy.
