The guest speaker today was, Nate Lamkin Senior Director of CareDimensions. Nate has been with CareDimensions for seventeen years. During those years he has met and helped many families with the difficult task of caregiving of family loved ones during illnesses, providing Hospice, Palliative Care, and Support Services.
By profession Nate was trained as a social worker. Nate explained many things about a topic which most of us don’t usually like to talk about, but the reality is every person will experience.

He explained the “ Five Wishes”
Wish 1: The Person I Want to Make Care Decisions for Me When I Can’t.
Wish 2: The Kind of Medical Treatment I Want or Don't Want.
Wish 3: How Comfortable I Want to Be.
Wish 4: How I Want People to Treat Me.
Wish 5: What I Want My Loved Ones to Know.

All of the above are important issues that people must make prior to becoming ill or in the the event that they have an accident, arrangements will have already been made for their medical care and wishes. To find out more information about
CareDimensions visit www.caredimensions.org

Respectfully,
