The weather was cold my friends, but, sunny. Our feast was the usual fare with Chicken, broccoli, ziti as the main dish. Today’s meeting was presided over by VP Dave S like he was born for it. (Very organized I might say.)
I did not get the attendance numbers, if I missed them I will pay, if not, someone else will.
Raffle gifts were donated by; Arlex Oil, Lexington Ace Hardware, Peoples Bank, Walpole Cooperative Bank and the Rotary Club of Lexington.
The Pledge was led by PP Jim F, 1st verse of America by Acting Sgt. At Arms Charlie V and the invocation by PDG Jack M.
Happy Dollars were given by Lori M for her upcoming trip to Mexico ($20), PDG Jack M for winning $$ in the Arlex Super Bowl pool ($50) and PE Jim S thanking all of his fellow Rotarians for their comfort and support after his operation ($20).
There was a failed attempt to fine PP Spencer’s table for something but I missed the point.
Our Super Bowl Pool (organized by VP Dave S) resulted in the following winners;
     1st Qtr. – PP Ed G - $25, 2nd Qtr. – Bob C - $60, 3rd Qtr. – Charlie V - $25 and Final – PP John O - $140
(PP John then offered to donate his winnings ($140) to the Polar Plunge in the name of the Plunger with the least amount of “Shrinkage”.  He will donate no matter what.)
