Dr. Stare is the Director and Owner of Spectrum Fitness Consulting, and is also the owner of Orthopaedics Plus Physical Therapy with clinics in Beverly and Bedford MA where he also treats patients with a wide range of neuromuscular conditions, specializing in spine and shoulder disorders.

Mike received his BS in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, his MS in Physical Therapy from Boston University, and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the Massachusetts General Hospital IHP. Mike is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists.

Dr. Stare has obtained the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) distinction,t by the American College of Nutrition.

Dr. Stare has lectured nationally to over 10000 fellow clinicians in more than 170 cities Locally, he provides dynamic, customized seminars to dozens of schools, philanthropic social organizations, and athletic associations. Dr Stare also provides regional seminars on corporate wellness solutions to small and large businesses. Mike resides in Windham, NH with his wife and three girls.
