John DeLorey founded College Planning Services 30 years ago as a direct result of his working with parents of high school students who said they were feeling real pressure and stress about how they were going to fund their children’s college education and how they were going to be able to retire someday in some comfort. John saw a need to help parents develop a customized strategy that would allow them to present themselves to the colleges in ways that would help them reduce their out-of-pocket expenses by 25% per year.
Mr. DeLorey graduated from Boston College with a BS degree in Accounting. He has dedicated his professional career to helping over 5,200 families with his practical advice and hard work. There are five staff members at College Planning Services handling the daily administrative responsibility and the yearly completion of the complicated financial aid forms.
