PP Dan B Gives Tutorial on How to Use a Computer.

 
 
Our weekly meeting began with some sort of a pasta dish (it is an Irish place, right?), salad and a selection of deli meats with cookies for desert. 
President Dominic softly rang the meeting in at 12:30, PP Doug lead the pledge, Charlie the first verse of America and Don the invocation.  With 23 Lexington Rotarians and no guests, the welcome song was passed on but everyone paid a buck for not having any guests.
 
PP Dan B paid $5 for the right leaning flag, PP Dan O $20, $15 for PP Murray’s retirement party and $5 for Kristen’s picture in the globe. PP Frank paid $20 for his daughter’s new sport, crew, and going to see her compete over the weekend, and wining. PP Spencer paid $9 for his birthday and the early present from his wife and PP Murray $20 for his retirement party too.  He then added an additional $5 for being out of town for the cash raffle. 
Our cash raffle night is this Friday, November 13 at 6:30 p.m. at Waxy O’Connor’s, on the second floor.  There will also be various bucket raffles and PP Dan B and Steve M will need some help with those if you can lend a hand.  Steve M reported all tickets are turned in and PAID except for, “a select few”.  Also, all member’s club bills, which carry the charges for each member’s obligatory ticket, need to be paid in full before Friday.
 
Other upcoming events;
  • Veterans Day Event at the Bedford VA Hospital building 81 on Wednesday November 11 from 11:00am till 1:00pm
  • Stop Hunger Now Pack Out is Saturday November 14 at the Lexington Prep School, 265 Lowell St, Lexington from 10:00am till noon.
  • Sand/Salt for Senior’s will be on Saturday December 5 from 10:00am till noon from the Brookhaven at Lexington facility.
 
Raffle prizes were donated by Eagle Bank, Arlex Oil Company, Rotary Club, LPL Financial and Bob Cunningham.
