On a cold clear day 20 Lexington Rotarians, I visiting Rotarian, and our guest speaker enjoyed a phenomenal lunch of haddock, chicken fingers, French fries, rice, some sort of green tree looking things, fruit and fresh made chocolate chip cookies.

PP Don led the pledge, yours truly in the first verse of America, and PDG Jack in the prayer, and was asking for some extreme cold too.  PDG I think your prayer was answered as I type this newsletter.

Guest Speaker
Dr. Michael Stare was our guest speaker.  Michael is the principal owner of Spectrum Fitness Consulting. Starting out in Beverly he has expanded is business to a brand new state of the art facility in Bedford. Speaking about the problem most people encounter while trying to exercise and get into/stay in shape is lack of time and boredom doing the mundane and repetitive exercises. Most people, when working out without a coach, are usually doing the wrong workout, or are doing them with the incorrect form, causing more problems than gains. The Dr. says the best workouts are resistance training with the help of a personal trainer. This is particularly true for people with back and knee problems. Dr. Stare’s website, https://www.spectrumfit.net, can give additional information and links to answer questions you may have.
