Speaker
Our guest speaker was Doug Peck. Doug has owned the Seniors Helping Seniors franchise in the MetroWest area since 2011. Prior to joining Seniors Helping Seniors MetroWest, Doug had a 30-year career as a senior manager in human resources. He has given many presentations on care-giving and aging at home to Rotary Clubs, Libraries, and area churches.

Seniors Helping Seniors is a unique home care agency that fosters relationships between peers who understand the ups and downs of growing older. Their office and care-giving teams are well versed in dementia, chronic illness, social isolation, and other specific areas that commonly affect the seniors in our community. The organization seeks diverse ranges of experiences in the care-giving community. Their caregivers have backgrounds in the fields of human service, business management, technology, medicine, law, real estate--just to name a few. This helps them to make matches that maximize social engagement and they make the transition into seeking care a little bit easier. The safety of your loved one is their top priorities. All their caregivers are carefully vetted and receive criminal and driving record checks. They provide many continuing education opportunities for their caregivers, empowering them to be experts in senior care. As an agency, they take the time to get to know each caregiver as an individual, who brings unique strengths to their work, enabling them to make the best possible match for your loved one.

The 50/50 was won by our regular guest PP. Paul of the Rotary Club of Burlington. The winning number ending in 592 was with $55.00
President Michelle G. rang the bell and our meeting was ended.
