At 6 PM on Monday night, a large contingent of Rotarians, spouses, children and one very lucky guest arrived at the Lexington golf club to enjoy an evening of games, drinks, food and fellowship. We filled 5 tables with people engaged in lively conversation and enjoying the delightful buffet of appetizers prepared by Patty. Around 7 PM, people gathered for games of Right, Left, Center. Two tables were set up, one a high stakes table and another with no stakes. I left the high stakes table $15 lighter, but quite happy with the evening. Our guest left the table $100 heavier and very happy as well. We expect to see her back at the next game night. When I headed out around 7:30, about half the group was still hanging out, enjoying the evening. The event was a huge success, and I for one am looking forward to the next Game Night.
