Business As Usual Today

 
 
 
 
On a cool fall day, 20 Lexington Rotarians, and a guest enjoyed lunch. 
As usual, the food was fantastic.
 
PP Jim F. led the Pledge; the first verse of America was by PP Dom S., and the invocation by PDG Jack M.
 
Happy dollars/Fines: PP Dan B. imposed a fine on Jim T., last week’s bulletin writer.  The Bulletin came in by email during the meeting.  PP Dom S. paid happy dollars for spending his summer house hunting with his daughter.  PP Spencer B. gave happy dollars for Old Dominion beating Virginia Tech.  SA Alan A. gave happy dollars for seeing Hamilton and he spoke glowingly about the wonderful time he spent at other performances.  PDG Jack M. proposed a fine on PP Nick C. for sitting with our guest.  PP Nick C. gave happy dollars for a great plumbing job done by Kirkland and Shaw.  PP Dan B. gave happy dollars for having oil while his daughter is without Gas.  PP Jim S. paid happy dollars for his guest, Veronica Tamburrini-Caira, the treasurer of the Chamber.
 
Announcements: 
Senior BBQ for tomorrow, (Tuesday) is postponed until Tuesday, October 1st, the other cookouts are as scheduled for Wednesday 26th, and Thursday 27th, this week.  Visitors Day is October 22nd.  Veterans Day Breakfast is November 3rd.  Rise Against Hunger is November 18th.  PP Don M. will host the Friends Forever group at his home on October 29th.  Joint meeting with the Burlington Club in Lexington November 19th. Tentative location may be the Knights of Columbus.
 
Raffle Donations were from Eagle Bank, Patriot Bank, PP Bill C., PP Jim S., Busa Wine and Spirits, Bob C.
