"A Retrospective on the Present Legislative Session and Insights into Next Session."
During her remarks, Rep. Ciccolo will provide a retrospective on the 2-year legislative session now coming to a close and offer insights into where the legislature is likely to be headed in the next session.  She will share her own legislative priorities, and cover some of the policy approaches that could help the Commonwealth make progress on the most pressing concerns facing the state including transportation, housing, and the environment.
 
 
 
BIOGRAPHY
 
"Michelle Ciccolo is the Representative for the 15th Middlesex District.  Just elected to her 3rd term, Rep. Ciccolo's district, includes most of Lexington and a small portion of Woburn and Winchester.  Rep. Ciccolo serves on 4 joint committees in the Legislature and is a member of the Progressive Caucus and the vice-chair of the Women's Caucus.  She is also the founder and Chair of the Zero-Waste Caucus.  Before her role in the Legislature, Rep. Ciccolo was actively involved in regional and state-wide policy initiatives, especially in Transportation and Community Development.  As the Assistant Town Administrator and Community Development Director for the Town of Hudson, MA, Rep. Ciccolo spent 20 years leading and managing a wide range of capital projects and initiatives and served on many regional and statewide boards and commissions.  She also founded and led a small consulting firm specializing in Community Development Planning and Real Estate. Prior to being elected to the Massachusetts General Court, Michelle served nearly two full terms on the Lexington Select Board and one term as an elected member of the Lexington Planning Board."
